Crape myrtles and knock out rose bushes?
I have two of each and both sets are starting to lose thier blooms completely. What do I need to start doing now to make sure they dont die! The coldest its gotten is 45 degrees so far. Maybe thats to cold for blooms?
Its time for crepe myrtles to quit blooming, the leaves will start turning color as it cools off then shed and go dormant for the winter.The knock out rose will also go dormant to semi dormant depending where you live.Depending on when the crepe myrtle was trimmed I have seen them blooming in Dec. none the less both will be find, trim them back in the spring and they will lush out and bloom again as expected.
